On the positives they can take out of the final after losing gold to Great Britain:
"There's still a lot of room for further improvement. If we can train at our best and in our own facility we can still improve a lot."
On their strategy for the final:
"In tonight's final we tried to give it all. We pushed a bit more at the start, we used a tougher gear and in fact it worked out until two or three laps from the end.
"We were really close to the Brits until the end. And that's something we can work on. We can really hope for something good in the future."
On their expectations before the Championships:
"We arrived here with mixed feelings because we really didn't know how it would end. We even hadn't ever tried the 4000 metres this season. And we trained on a track very different from this one.
"We tried to train as well as we could after we arrived here but you can only do what you can do in these situations. We improvised a little bit and to get a silver medal after this, we did well.
"We also gained some points for the (Tokyo 2020) Olympic qualification, and that's another positive side to it."
