DV: KURJO, WASSEN (GER) - bronze in women's synchronised 10m platform
EDINBURGH - Comments from Maria KURJO (GER) and Elena WASSEN (GER) after Germany took bronze in the women's synchronised 10m platform event at the Glasgow 2018 European Championships at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh on Tuesday.
Maria KURJO (GER) - bronze
On the competition:
"Our third dive was great but we could have done a bit better with the entry to our fifth dive. The British [gold medallists Eden CHENG and Lois TOULSON] finished with a great dive too and I am not really surprised they managed to win it."
On the pair's preparations for the event:
"We had a few problems because Elena (WASSEN) was travelling quite a lot with junior events and the pool in Berlin was shut for a bit. So we didn't get to train as much together as we would have wanted. But we knew we have a good chance of a medal."

On winning her first European medal at senior level:
"I am very happy with this first European medal. It has been a long season with many competitions and it is just brilliant to get a medal from it all."
