GLASGOW - Comments from Axel AUGIS, Cyril TOMMASONE and Edgar BOULET from France after taking the bronze medal in the men's gymnastics team final at the SSE Hydro on Saturday.
Axel AUGIS (FRA) - bronze
On taking the bronze medal in the team competition:
"It feels magnificent to win the bronze medal in the team final. We knew it was going to be difficult as the other teams have been performing really well.
"In qualifications we made a number of mistakes, so we knew we had to focus on all our routines and do the best for the team. I am very happy that we performed much better today. Everyone in our team did very well."
Cyril TOMMASONE (FRA) - bronze
On what the bronze medal means to the team:
"It is a huge win for the whole team, for all the gymnasts and coaches. All the hard work we did in training paid off today. It is the best feeling."
On producing the best pommel horse performance in the arena on Saturday:
"It was really hard for me as I was the last one to perform for the team in the competition. There were huge expectations for me to do the best routine I could in order to claim the bronze for the team. Before I got on the apparatus, I thought I had nothing to lose and just focused on doing my best. It paid off."
Edgar BOULET (FRA) - bronze
On what the bronze medal means to him:
"It is my first European medal and for some of my teammates as well. It feels crazy, and it is the best feeling in the world."
