Oliver HEGI (SUI) - gold in horizontal bar, bronze in parallel bars
On winning two medals at Glasgow 2018:
"I didn't expect it, especially the bronze medal in the parallel bars. I was shocked, I couldn't be happier. Actually the parallel bars was just a warm-up for the horizontal bar because that's my specialty. It came completely unexpected."
On waiting for the other horizontal bar finalists to compete:
"I knew my routine was really good, but I was nervous anyway, especially before Epke [ZONDERLAND, NED] was performing because he's really good. When I found out that his score was lower than mine I couldn't think about anything, I was just happy and my mind was blank.
"I tried to forget that I won the bronze medal in the parallel bars, just to focus on the horizontal bar, and it actually worked."
On his plans for the future:
"I'm going to go back to the gym and prepare for the world championships [in Doha, Qatar, in October]. Then of course my dream is to go to the Olympics in 2020 [in Tokyo, Japan]. In one year I hope to increase the difficulty of my exercise."
