GO: DREHER, MOLLE (FRA) - silver in women's team event
GLASGOW - Comments from Justine DREHER and Manon MOLLE (FRA) after they lost to Cajsa PERSSON and Linda WESSBERG (SWE) in a sudden death play-off in the final of the women's team event at the Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course on Sunday.
Justine DREHER (FRA) - silver
On playing in the European Championships:
"Honestly this is the best event I’ve played in since I turned pro. This one is really special because we play in a team.
"We played seven rounds of golf but I wouldn’t change anything with this event. I haven’t heard a single player say anything negative about this week."
Manon MOLLE (FRA) - silver
On winning a medal:
"It feels great. I wouldn’t have thought I would have this medal around my neck. We didn’t get the win but it was still a great experience and I have great memories of this week.
"One side is disappointed because we really wanted that gold medal but on the other side we’re really happy to finish this high on the podium because we did not expect that at the beginning of the week."
On making a crucial putt on the 18th hole:
"This afternoon all the putts just slipped out and it was really hard and we had to stay patient until the end.
"On the 18th, to be honest, I prayed and it went in and it was a perfect putt. I was so happy about it. At that moment I thought we could really make it to the gold medal."
