GO: HERBIN, VAYSON de PRADENNE (FRA) - ‘It’s like being a crocodile - you bite on it and never let go. Obviously you have to be a patient crocodile'

GLASGOW - Comments from Celine HERBIN (FRA) and Astrid VAYSON de PRADENNE (FRA) of France 1 after they halved their Group B women's match with France 2 (Justine DREHER and Manon MOLLE, FRA) at the Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course on Thursday.

On playing in Group B with France 2:

"It was special to play against people from France.

"They began stronger than us, then we were leading, they came back, they were leading. Sometimes it's like that but our strategy is good. It's the best result for France. We're not upset. We can be proud of ourselves."

On their preparation for their match against Sweden 2 on Friday:

"I think we are going to have fish and chips, enjoy the nice weather this afternoon and spend a lot of time putting."

On the European Championships format:

"It's awesome to be able to play match play and to play with Astrid is such fun. I definitely hope we will have this format in the future."

On their chances of progressing to the semifinals and final:

"I think we have a realistic chance of winning gold.  We are in good shape and obviously we will do our best. We definitely have positive luck and we are fighters."

On playing with Celine HERBIN (FRA):

"What stands out for me is the strength of my partner. The nerves and the pressure get to me. I can learn a lot from her this week as well as enjoying myself in Gleneagles."

On their match:

"I'm a chipping queen, she is the putting queen. I remember the whole match because it was a fight the whole way.

"It's like being a crocodile - you bite on it and never let go. Obviously you have to be a patient crocodile."
