GLASGOW - Comments from Domenico MONTRONE (ITA) and Theophile ONFROY (FRA) after the men's pair semifinals at Strathclyde Country Park on Friday.
Domenico MONTRONE (ITA)
On finishing third in semifinal 2:
"We had a problem at the start. A blade got stuck under the water so we spent the race trying to chase the others from behind. I got a bit nervous but we qualified in the end."
On their expectations for the final:
"We want to do a good race. Our opponents are all fierce but we have no fears. The stronger they are, the more adrenaline we have."
Theophile ONFROY (FRA)
On the race:
"It was difficult at times due to the crosswind. We are happy today but we want to do better (in the final)."
On the final:
"It's going to be a tight and tough race. Our aim is to row at the best of our abilities and any result we get, it will be a consequence of that."
