Svetlana KOLESNICHENKO (RUS) - gold
On winning her fourth gold medal of the Glasgow 2018 European Championships:
"I'm going to sleep now and I’m sleeping for a week. I am happy but I am also so tired that maybe I will be happier in a week.
"I'm happy the Championships is finished because I want to rest."
On what it takes to make Russia the dominant nation in synchronised swimming:
"We work for 10 or 12 years to get to the top, to be the best and to get higher. Everyone says 'oh Russia, they are so good at synchronised swimming' but it is hard to be first all the time.
"It is work and more work. We need more than 24 hours in the day to do it."
On her final programme earning a lower score than her preliminary round (95.5333 to 94.9333):
"I was surprised but I think it was because I went first in the preliminary and maybe the judges scored too high and today I went down (the order).
"I will look at my performance today and see what I have done and what I can do to improve."
