Schedule and Results

LOOKING BACK: This was how the European Synchronised Swimming Championships was previewed ahead of Glasgow 2018 ...

Originally referred to as water ballet, synchronised swimming has four disciplines; solo (1 athlete), duet (2 athletes), team (4-8 athletes) and free combination (6-10 athletes). Athletes perform an artistic routine in a swimming pool to music and are judged on the artistry, execution and difficulty of their performance.
