August 11th 2018 was a busy day for BMX - Sylvain André won the 1st heat, Dave Van der Burg claiming heat 4, Romain Mahieu won heat 7, closely followed by Cédric Butti, Niek Kimmann secured first place in heat 8 ahead of Kye Whyte and Laura Smulders wins the women's final.

On 7th August 2018 20 year-old Matt Walls won GB's fourth track cycling gold, Denmark won women's madison, while Mathilde Gros claimed gold for France..

Matteo Trentin claims gold in the Men's Road Race ahead of Mattieu Van Der Poel and Wout Van Aert.

Laura Kenny claimed her second gold of the European Championship after a dramatic finish in the elimination race against Germany's 23 year-old Anna Knauer.

MTB cross-country race favourite Jolanda Neff secured her 3rd European Championship Gold, whilst Pauline Ferrand Prevot and Githa Michiels claimed silver and bronze.

Ellen Van Dijk secured her 3rd consecutive European title, whilst Anna Van der Breggen won silver and Trixi Worrack claimed bronze in a rain-swept women's time trial final in Glasgow.

Sophie Wright led early on, however the peleton caught up, setting up a dramatic sprint finish with Italy's Marta Bastianelli crossing the line first.

Rhys McClenaghan (IRE) won Gold on the Pommell Horse. Eleftherious Petounias (GRE) produced a superb Rings routine for Gold. Dominick Cunningham (GBR) wins Gold on his home soil. Arthur Dalaloyan (RUS) defended his title in the Vault and went on to win Gold in the Parallel Bars.

Hungary won the vault final, Nina Derwael took the title in the uneven bars ahead of Jonna Alderteg and Angelina Melnikova, Sanna Wevers claimed gold in the beam and 18 year-old Mélanie de Jesus won the floor final.

Russia claim their third successive European Championships Gold.

Russia's women's team took gold ahead of France and Netherlands thanks to impressive performances by all the young gymnasts.

A memorable day for Switzerland with Jeannine Gmelin and Michael Schmid both winning gold in the single sculls while Germany's claim the eight men rowing final.

Romainia’s Madalina Beres and Denisa Tilvescu won the women's pair final, whilst Romania also took gold in the men's fours final and in the women's eight final… a golden hat-trick!
