European Championships Munich 2022 presents hidden object picture and Premium Partner Sparkasse

Nine top-class European sports and an extraordinary festival – the Bavarian capital will shine in the splendour of the European Championships Munich 2022 from 11-21 August 2022. A first impression of this can be seen in the hidden object picture by Daniela Grabner, which can be admired in numerous branches of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, Premium Partner of the multi-sport event.

Numerous sport stars of the Class of 22 have already met in Munich, at least in theory. Nine European championships and the “The Roofs” festival will combine sport and culture and ensure that Munich will be buzzing with activity this summer. The Local Organising Committee is showing the extent of the European Championships Munich 2022 in a unique hidden object picture by illustrator Daniela Grabner. On large surfaces in Munich, locals and guests can not only marvel at the artwork, but also go in search of the number of bicycles in the picture and, with a bit of luck, win two tickets for the European Championships Munich 2022 in a raffle. More information and terms and conditions of participation can be found here.

Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe is Premium Partner of Munich 2022

Various Sparkassen branches are also buzzing with top-class sport and festival vibes. As the largest non-governmental sports sponsor in Germany, the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe is involved in the European Championships Munich 2022 as a Premium Partner. The sponsorship is jointly supported by Stadtsparkasse München, the Savings Banks Association of Bavaria (SVB) and the Sports Sponsorship of the German Savings Banks and Giro Association (DSGV). In Munich, the hidden picture will draw attention to the partnership in numerous Sparkasse branches from Saturday 16 April 2022. Those who spot the Sparkasse logos will have the chance to win two tickets for the multi-sport event.

"The event brings together Olympic and Paralympic competitions and is thus not only an excellent complement to our promotion from grassroots to elite sport, which we have been doing for more than two decades. With its sustainability concept, the event is also convincing in terms of responsible and sustainable sports sponsoring," says Helmut Schleweis, President of the German Savings Banks and Giro Association.

Prof. Dr. Ulrich Reuter, President of the Bavarian Savings Banks Association, adds: "Bavaria, and especially Munich, can show itself to the world as a place of encounter. We hope for relaxed European Championships that will also have a lasting motivating effect on visitors young and old. The competitions should make visible how sport brings joy, gives self-affirmation and creates connections between people."

"Munich and Olympiapark belong together. Olympiapark has been a defining image when people talk about Munich since 1972. The European Championships 2022 will primarily use existing sports facilities and infrastructure in the spirit of sustainability. We support this and are delighted that this event will once again bring exciting sporting competitions to Olympiapark and the entire city. Sport connects people. That is why Stadtsparkasse München has been committed to sport and exercise in our state capital for many years," says Ralf Fleischer, Chairman of the Board of Stadtsparkasse München.

"There has been an excellent cooperation with Stadtsparkasse München in Olympiapark for several years. It is great that this cooperation has now turned into a premium partnership with the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe at the European Championships 2022," explains Klaus Cyron, CEO S&K Marketing GmbH and Head of LOC European Championships Munich 2022.

And Marion Schöne, organiser and managing director of Olympiapark München GmbH, adds: "We are looking forward to the content and activations of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, which will enrich the European Championships 2022. I'm also really excited about the hidden object picture, which illustrates how the whole of Munich will be influenced by the biggest multi-sport event in 50 years and can be seen at our Premium Partners and in the city."

Third raffle in BMW Welt

Premium Partner BMW Group is also participating in the Easter special. The hidden object picture will even hang in BMW Welt until 21 August and offers egg hunting fun for all visitors. In the BMW raffle, the correct number of pretzels has to be found to get the chance to win two tickets for the European Championships 2022.
